The girls had a great halloween. Hallie was Strawberry Shortcake and Korrine was Apple Dumplin. They had a great time trick or treating. We also went to church where they got ride a wagon driven some Clydsdale horses. Hallie got to jump on inflatables and Korrine played a couple games. It was a beautiful Halloween.

Halloween 2008
Go Raiders!!!! What a season it has been. Davin, me, and the girls have been fortunate enough to go to one Tech game so far against K-state. It was the first big twelve game and it was quite an experience. The small corner of tech fans were on their feet most of the game. The girls have learned to do their guns up and yell touch down. Unfortunately I forgot the camera on the day of the game so our memories will just be that. We hope they continue on the roll they have been traveling down against Oklahoma and Baylor and then maybe we'll get to go to one more game in Kansas City ( The big twelve championship). It so far has been awesome to watch them play and remembering the days when we were students at Tech. The game against Texas wasn't the first game the students rushed the field after a victory and those of us that were there know why the goal posts were taken down when the students started running. If Tech doesn't go any further in this journey they did their job. They beat the Aggies and beat Texas.

A Typical Week
Davin and I are in our 7th year of marriage and unbelievably we've lived Wichita for almost 4 years. We have 2 daughters Hallie (4) and Korrine (16 mo). We also have a dog named Libby.
Davin works for Cargill in training and I get to stay home with the girls. A typical week around here seems simple enough but really I find that I stay pretty busy. Monday, Hallie goes to dance (ballet/tap) and goes to preschool in the afternoon. Tuesday is a free day, which usually means I do lots of laundry and clean the house. Wednesday, Hallie goes to preschool in the afternoon and has AWANA that night and Davin and I go to a small group at our church which may as well be called group therapy. Thursday is a free day and if I got enough done earlier in the week usually we'll try and do something fun like go to the zoo or the park. Friday, we go to MAPS (mothers and preschoolers) and preschool in the afternoon. Then there's the weekend which usually anything goes. O.k I know that doesn't seem like a bunch, but when you have little ones to care for believe me. I probably wouldn't be sitting down and doing this except for the fact Hallie's got a little bug and has been sleeping most the day and Korrine is taking a really long nap.
I really feel blessed with the life I have. Davin is a wonderful husband and a very caring father and a great provider. We have made some really great friendships here in Wichita and our girls are really a great joy.
