The Girls New Pictures

We got some great pictures of the girls. They are getting way too big. I can't believe my baby is turning 2 in a couple of weeks. We had a great weekend just hanging out. I love my girls.

Easter

Easter was bittersweet this year. It was fun because the girls got to hunt eggs, get Easter baskets, and see her grandparents, great gran and Chris and Brooke. However Davin had to work so he did not get to enjoy the holiday with us. The girls had lots of fun at Umpa and Uma's. It's always fun to see Chris and Brooke for the girls. Korrine loves to snuggle with Uncle Chris. We also got to see Josh, Rachel, and Eva before they moved to Austin. We even went to the botanical gardens with Uma. It was fun but I think we all missed Davin. We appreciate all the hard work he does for our family and love him to pieces.

Hallie's 5th Birthday

Hallie turned 5 on March 27th. Her Uma and Umpa came to celebrate. We had planned to have a party at the zoo. But who would imagine a blizzard would come through in late March. It did. So what was supposed to be one party became three. One on Friday with her family. One on Saturday with a couple of the girls that lived close, and one on Sunday with the rest of her friends. Hallie didn't mind to much. She even got to play in the snow.

It's been a while since I blogged so I have some catching up to do. Hallie is five now!!!!! Her birthday was March 27th. So let's see since Halloween we've had Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentines Day, Spring Break and a birthday. I'm sorry about the lack of pictures of these events and I'll try to do better.

Christmas

We celebrated Christmas at our house and it was lovely. Santa came and left lots of presents for the girls and even some for mom and dad. The day after Christmas we loaded up the van including a newly installed dvd system (AWESOME!!!) went on a trek and then went to Dallas. We had a great time in Dora and saw lots of family. Hallie and Korrine had a good time with their cousins. It was absolutely beautiful weather so the kids got to play outside a whole lot. Unfortunately Davin was sick one day but we don’t know a family vacation when at least one of us wasn’t feeling bad at some point. After spending 4 days in Dora we drove across Texas. We drove through Lubbock on our way through. It was really neat to see how much building has happened since the last time we were down there. We spent some days with my parents in Allen which was fun. Sabrina was there at that time and Brad brought Carick up. We had Christmas with everyone which was wonderful. Hallie and Korrine are not deprived children at all.

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving at my parents house (Uma and Umpa). It was great. Brad, Cynthia, Carick, and Cassidy came up from Houston. Chris and Brook came over. Great-Gran was there as well. It was so good to see everyone. I don't think the kids ate anything except dessert though.
